Query Sequences
The Alignment Query Page: Entering Query Sequences
An alignment search begins by entering one or more query sequences into sequence panel.
Alignment "Runs"
Each alignment search submitted with the JGI Alignment tool search is associated with a Run.
- Sequences should be entered in FASTA format.
- You may also upload a FASTA formatted file that contains your query sequence(s).
- Click +Add... to select a file from the file system.
- Your Alignment Run will search against both sequences entered directly in to the query box and sequences included in any uploaded FASTA Files.
