Exploring Vista Alignments

To facilitate comparative analysis, the VISTA suite of alignment visualization tools has been embedded within each genome portal for which there exist VISTA alignments.

Help for the VISTA tools is available here.

Operation of VISTA applications within the Genome Portal conforms to the instructions provided in the help document referenced above with a few minor exceptions:
  • When viewed from within the Portal for a given genome, alignments are filtered to include only those that include this genome.
  • While only public alignments are visible on VISTA, private alignments may be visible in the portal "embedded" version, if you, as a registered user, have access to these private alignments.
