Registering with the JGI

Register as a JGI User

Registering as a JGI user is fast and easy and provides you one-stop access to all JGI tools, including the Genome Portal.

1. To log-in or register as new user, click on the button at the top of your screen, or clickhere.

Register as an Annotator

In order toannotate a genome or use the track editor to manipulate gene models, you must also request annotation privileges for that particular organism.

1. To obtain annotation access, please send an email request to theJGI Annotation Group, including your JGI username (usually your e-mail address).
