Acarospora strigata is a crustose lichen from the Acarosporaceae family (Ascomycota). It is capable of growth in arid environments, primarilty on rocks, and is common in the southwestern deserts of North America. The genome of A. strigata was imported into MycoCosm for comparative purposes.
