Status
[August 2023] Bacillariophyceae sp. bin 90 v1.0 genome was coassembled from the eukaryotic fraction of the HAVOC (Ridges - Safe HAVens for ice-associated flaura and fauna in a seasonally ice-covered Arctic OCean) samples from MOSAiC, assembled with metahipmer2, and annotated with the JGI Annotation Pipeline.
The eukaryotic fraction was determined by taxonomically identifying contigs from each sample assembly individually using MMSeqs2, mapping to the MMETSP and NR databases, before pooling all reads mapping to these contigs.
