Status

This genome was sequenced by Stefanie Traeger, Minou Nowrousian et al Lehrstuhl für Allgemeine und Molekulare Botanik, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Bochum, Germany (The Genome and Development-Dependent Transcriptomes of Pyronema confluens: A Window into Fungal Evolution).

The genome was assembled from a combination of Illumina/Solexa and 454 reads. Gene models were predicted de novo based on homology and evidence from the RNA-seq data.
