The Cadophora sp. M221 genome sequence and gene models
were not determined by the Joint Genome Institute (JGI), but were
downloaded from NCBI
on June 8, 2022. The JGI Annotation Pipeline was used to add
functional annotation to this genome. Please note that this copy of
the genome is not maintained by NCBI and is therefore not
automatically updated.
Cadophora species are dark septate endophytes and can
survive in a variety of habitats. Cadophora sp. M221 was
isolated from a low-pH ingredient used in a nonalcoholic
beverage.
