Loramyces from WH Weston, 1929

The genus Loramyces, an ascomycete from the class Leotiomycetes, contains two aquatic species, L. junicola (1), and L. macrosporus (2). Both species are saprophytes found growing on submerged, decaying plants (3). L. juncicola was sequenced as part of the 1000 Fungal Genomes Project.
