Polyplosphaeria is a genus of fungi in the family Pleosporales (Dothideomycetes). Polyplosphaeria fusca was collected from Ainai trail of Aomori, Souma, Japan and was found growing on culms of Sasa kurilensis (bamboo). This genome was sequenced as part of the 1000 Fungal Genomes Project.
