JGI portals provide data for CAZy annotations for many of our organisms and organisms group pages.
There are two pages where you can see information about CAZy annotations. CAZy Annotations Summary Page and Proteins Browser Page.
Click on CAZY navigation on the organism or group portal to go to the CAZy Annotations Summary page for the given organism or group.
CAZy Annotations Summary Filter
At the top of the page are controls to set the filter for the displayed CAZy annotations.
By default the filter is empty and you can see all CAZy annotations available for the organism or organism group.

button shows the CAZy annotation hierarchy expanded to the top level with all lower levels collapsed. This is the default view for CAZy annotations when you first view the page.
button shows CAZy annotation hierarchy with all levels expanded. You can collapse or expand any individual node in CAZy hierarchy at any time by clicking anywhere in the first column except the CAZy code itself. If you click on CAZy code you will be redirected to the CAZy web site for this CAZy annotation.
- The next input field is for setting the filter for displaying CAZy annotations. You can enter your desired filter like "zinc" or "AA" (without double quotes) to filter out only those proteins that match a keyword search.
After entering filter value into the field you can hit the Enter key on the keyboard or click the "Filter" button to apply your new filter and show only the matched results.
button removes any filter and shows all CAZy annotations for the organism or organisms group.
check box allows you to hide the whole CAZy hierarchy and shows only the part of the hierarchy that matches the current filter.
check box allows you to see the totals for only the CAZy annotations which match the current filter. If you uncheck this check box you will see a pair of totals separated by a "/" character. Left number represents the total number of annotations that matched your search criteria and the right number shows how many annotations in total there are without the filter.
CAZY Annotations Summary Table
This table shows CAZy hierarchy and totals of CAZy annotations for every organism in the group.
Every row represents one CAZy annotation or group the name of which is displayed in the first column and every column represents one organism. Every cell contains the total number of proteins with a given CAZy annotation for the given organism.
Totals and sub-totals for CAZy families and sub-families are shown according to the CAZy hierarchy. The last column and the first row contain totals across the row or column, respectively.
You can click on every value in this table to go to the CAZy annotations page to see the list of all CAZy annotations making up the total.
