The annotation tool can be opened by running a Search and clicking on a "Transcript Id" link for the transcript you want to annotate. If no "T" links are available, the genome in which you searched is not accepting annotations. You will first need to log in with the username and password you chose when you registered as an annotator. Once you've logged in, you shouldn't need to do so again in the same day unless you quit and restart your browser. Functional (Protein) Annotation
